SySTEMic Solutions is a collaborative initiative between Northern Virginia Community College and area corporations, school divisions, and other universities to increase the number of students pursuing studies and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). A key component of the program are the Summer STEM Camps, these camps provide students the opportunity to gain exposure to STEM through the use of robotics.

Responsibilities Included:
– Collaborating with fellow instructors (experienced students and professional teachers) to implement curriculum, with a focus on competitive robotics platform – while also emphasizing general Science, Technology, Engineering & Math skills.
– Responding decisively to misbehavior and social conflict by implementing logical consequences, collaborative problem-solving, and one-on-one counseling.
