The Governor’s School at Innovation Park provided an opportunity to enroll in George Mason courses during high school in the areas of mathematics and science.

Honors and Awards:

  • Advanced Studies Diploma – Summa Cum Laude – June 2014
    • Awarded to students who complete a rigorous curriculum, including three years of a foreign language and four years of math and science. The Summa Cum Laude distinction is awarded to students with a 4.0 or higher GPA at graduation.
  • Early College Scholar – June 2014
    • Early College Scholars pursue an Advanced Studies Diploma, while earning at least 15 college-placement credits; in addition students must maintain an average above B.
  • AP Scholar with Distinction – June 2014
  • Rookie All-Star at FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships & Virginia Regional – April 2013
    • Recognized as an outstanding first year team at the World Championships and at the Virginia Regional. As Vice-President of the team during that build season I was responsible for guiding the design team to meet the challenge objectives, while managing the complexity, price, and timeline for the project. In addition, as a part of the team I developed skills in CREO Parametric 2.0, machining, collaboration with outside manufacturers, metal fabrication, electronics, system integration, and testing.
